About our family:

We are a creative and loving family. We love playing games, music and dancing. We spend lots of time outside in the garden, going for walks to the ravine park across the street and doing things to stay active outside. We are passionate about organic food: growing it, cooking it and sharing our rich lifestyle with others.

We are early risers and also early to bed (10pm).

I run a garden business, my husband is a psychotherapist and we have a 7 year old daughter.

We love to share our home, our favourite places in our neighbourhood and hope you will love it too!


About your room/living space:

We have completely rebuilt our basement into an incredible space to share with you. You get the best of both worlds, you have a place that is private for you, and we can share time together in whatever way suits our relationship and what you are looking for.

What we offer:

- Two bedrooms available - with new mattresses, one queen, one double.
- Two work/study spaces - one in its own room and one in a corner of your living room
- Living and dining room are a large open space with a dining table.
- There is a complete kitchen available just for you.
- You are welcome to request breakfast or dinners with us (for additional fee).
- Laundry is free and self-serve in our shared laundry room.

We also tend a large garden -- working, playing, swinging, climbing or sitting around a fire -- and are delighted when our homestay students wish to enjoy this space also.

We are situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, that is still close to everything you need. Like a cottage in the city.

- Parking on the driveway is available.
- There are also two buses within 2-5 min walk that will take you toward Main or Broadview subway stations.
- We are 20-25 min from city centre.


House Rules:

No overnight guests.

Noise levels must be quiet by 10pm.

Laundry soap is provided, you are allowed two loads per week. Also, optionally, you can strip your bedsheets and leave them in the laundry (once per week maximum), and I will wash them and leave them folded in the laundry for you.

No eating in bedrooms.

All Toronto recycling, garbage and composting guidelines need to be followed.

Absolutely no smoking anywhere in or around the house.

Strong smells such as perfume, cologne, aerosol sprays and scented candles are not permitted.
