My family have provided homestay in Toronto for over 15 years. I have a spacious house with extra rooms and my mum and have redecorated and furnished 2 private bedrooms, suitable for international students looking for a really great Canadian homestay experience. I have friends who came her as students and became good friends and we visit each other's countries quite often.
About me: I am not married (yet) and I have my own business training and caring for dogs. I don't currently own my own dog but that is on my list for the future. I love hockey and am a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan. I also love to garden, cook and travel AND I like music - especially Metal music and I enjoy going to concerts and on an annual Metal cruise every winter. BTW - I also have my Police Check.
My mum lives close by and together we prepare some great multicultural meals for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are more casual and sometimes I make a special meal or BBQ on my deck. The TTC is right outside my door and is a short ride to Yonge & Eglinton where you will find a lot ESL schools as well as cinemas, cafes, pubs, bars, restos, shops and lots more.
There are two bathrooms in the house and students share the one on the upper floor near their rooms. My house is best for guys age 20-30 who like to have some fun but who are also respectable, clean and responsible. Although we all have our own space in the house, we will definitely have some good English conversations!
