Welcome to Canada and my Home! My name is Andrea. My husband and I live in a peaceful, family-oriented neighbourhood in the last 20 years. We have two adult sons. My older son has his own family, no longer live with us and my younger son still lives with us and on his 3rd year in university.
I have retired from my professional life in mid 2018 after working in a corporate environment for 27 years. Being a homemaker now which I enjoy very much, I found my other skills like cooking, organizing and re-decorating my home to be most rewarding especially as I see my family enjoys the food I make and seeing things in its proper places, Oh, what a breath of fresh air!
Hosting international students for the first time would be a second nature for me. My personal experience combine with my professional experience can offer a lot to young people like you who wants to study here in Toronto. With our cohesive effort, we can make your living experience as memorable and enjoyable as possible as you study here in Toronto.
We are in a walking distance to the Heartland Shopping Centre. A walking distance to St. Marcellinus Secondary School. A bus ride or two to Sheridan College depending on route you take. A seven-minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to Square One Mall and Mississauga Transit Bus depot. From there, buses will take you the TTC subway station that will take you anywhere in Toronto.
My number one house rule is respect. With respect, we can accomplish harmonious living. In addition, there are expectations that we need to manage. Each of us are expected to do as follows:
• Cleanup own mess
• Put away own dishes in the dishwasher
• Clean your own bedroom
• Turn off lights after use
• Basement floor of the house has TV access and a living room. Keep living room neat after use.
• Keep study desk neat and clean
• Call home in case cannot make it home on-time
