(Bloor West Village/Junction). We are a female couple who have been hosting students for many years. We are both university educated and speak fluent English, Spanish and French.

We have maintained relationships with many of our students after they moved back home or into their own apartments. We can provide contact info and referrals.

Our home is close to downtown. The Jane subway station is a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride away and we are about 20 minutes to downtown (Yonge and Bloor). It is a very safe family neighbourhood, near Bloor West Village and the Junction neighbourhoods which have lovely shops and cafes. We are a 20 min walk to High Park, and very close to shopping.

Your bedroom will be on the main floor, with a double bed, side table dresser and closet to store your things. There is a full bathroom on the main floor. You are also welcome to use all of the common areas - on the main floor there is a full bathroom; a sunroom/study which has a desk and chair ready for you to use for homework, reading, etc.; a lounge that has two sofas and a comfy chair for relaxing, and the dining room which is also a place to eat, do homework or talk with us. In the basement, there is also a family room with a sofa, chair and TV this large space connects to the laundry room and another full bathroom.

Included in your rent is unlimited high speed wifi, and use of the washer and dryer . We celebrate most holidays, birthdays and often have bbqs in the backyard in good weather. We also go on day trips with students who are interested. We provide a family experience in a respectful home, with rules, chores, laughter and fun.

Our meal plan is optional and costs $200 per month. We can provide a hot homemade dinner which we will enjoy with you in the evenings, or which you can eat when you come home. We can provide the food for you to make your own breakfast and lunch. You may also use the kitchen to cook for yourself.

We limit our guests to one person, so that you have a more personal, family like experience. We are happy to email a copy of our house handbook to you upon request.
